A little background on me~

So almost 7 years ago I decided almost on a whim to re-join the direct selling world and chose to go with a wickless candle company. It's been a whirlwind adventure full of ups and downs and meeting some of the most amazing people! So I felt it was time that I begin chronicling my life as an Independent Director with my company! :D So here I am, I will try to post often and try to post relevant stuff that isn't just about my business, but at this point its hard to see where I begin and end and where my business begins and ends because it's such a big part of my life, my identity and my joy. 7 years ago I was only a customer with no intention of being anything more.. and if I knew then what I know now, I'm sure I would have jumped aboard earlier and started my journey with much more vigor. BUT you know what they say about everything happens for a reason and in it's right time? So maybe thinking that way isn't necessarily productive. So a little about me, I am a stay at home mom to 2 teenage boys, N will be a Senior in High School in the Fall, and T will be a Sophomore. I've been married to the love of my life, a Soldier in the U.S. Army for almost 20 years! We have 3 fun-loving, always-busy, crazy boxer dogs, Cope, Macy and Zeauxy (pronounced Zoe). We currently live in the deep south of Fort Polk, Louisiana and are currently considering our life post-army! I have a college degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration that I've never used for work (well not officially). I like to spend my extra time volunteering for organizations that I believe make an impact on the community and just spent 3 years volunteering with the Spouses' Club here on base. My team for my business is so important to me! I have a team of 70 amazing women (no men yet) that I absolutely adore! Some of them I've met in person and some I've only met on Facebook. It's a dream of mine to be able to meet and hug them all, even though I know that's probably not realistic. I try my best to get to know each one, to try to garner a little bit of knowledge of them as people, not just as part of my team. We have a pretty active team page and I love getting to know them all. I'm really looking forward to our upcoming convention this summer where I will get to live in a vacation home with several of them for about 4 days! I can't wait to spend those days together not only learning even more about our business and the company we are a part of, but learning more about each of them as a person! <3 I think I have rambled enough for day one~ so with that I'll say good-bye for the first post! <3
